If life was as simple as a webcomic, you could tell when people were telling the truth or not, when they sound sarcastic.
Seriously, telling the truth whilst sounding sarcastic is the best thing ever, I do it all the time. It's just a way of misleading someone without lying - it's just as bad as lying, but the superego just eats it up because it isn't technically, it makes the whole thing so much easier.
Woah - I totally just forgot what day I update on, I was writing about it being late and it isn't! It's going up 20 hours before it will update. Damn, now I can't write happy Christmas OR Boxing day.
I really enjoyed making this strip, for some reason, except when the Gimp kept closing when I reached the 10th text layer. It might be that amazing drawing on Donna in the first panel, I absolutely love it. The one in the last panel is horrible though, I was sort of going for more stuff less detail, didn't work too well. Maybe it's because I can actually see my art getting better in every single strip I do. This time I scanned at twice the resolution, and worked at that resolution, this allowed me to just pencil the outline, and when it was resized it looked thinner and better. My computer is bad at handing that resolution though, but I made the time up because it's quicker to colour this way, and I've found that the Gimp is actually pretty good at doing text AFTER the resizing (I hate spending ages on the text, it's the qucikest part on paper, it just takes too long on the computer.) which was faster because it was dealing with a smaller image.
I forgot to do peoples' lips different colours this week, nevermind.
Well, Happy New Year since that's the nearest event after this strip.
